After Miss Piggy gets stuck on a lamp post in Central Park by someone's discarded bubble gum, she gets robbed by a purse snatcher (played by Gary Tacon), borrows Broadway legend Gregory Hines' roller skates, and sets off in hot pursuit in the Tri-Star Pictures/Frank Oz musical comedy The Muppets Take Manhattan, 1984. Also seen in this gif set are Joe Jamrog as the police officer and, of course, Miss Piggy's great love Kermit the Frog.

I have to give credit to the 1985 movie "White Nights" for casting the whole movie around two of the best dancers in existence--Mikhail Baryshnikov and Gregory Hines. I honestly wasn't expecting moments where they got a laugh out of me...

...or for them to hit me in the feels with a few dramatic moments...

...not to mention the unbelievable chemistry with their respective love interests (Helen Mirren and Isabella Rossellini)...

...but the real magic happened when they got to do what they do best with each other.

It kinda sucks that hardly anybody is aware of this movie's existence and the only glory for it came for a song that played at the end credits [even though the song is equally awesome]. I just wanted to shine a spotlight on the movie for a moment
