His actual reason for obsessing over Lucille is legit sad tho, in the comics.
It’s because of his wife right?
I just….. idk…. I appreciate that but feel kinda weird at the same time knowing how sexual he makes the bat and considering he uses it to brutally murder people…. like
Why couldn't he have named a candle Lucille or something
Yeah, the crude jokes he makes with the bat is messed up because I was all like: would his wife, if alive, be ok with all that talk though?? But yeah, he named the bat after his wife, because he apparently left her to die and never got to bury her. So he honored her through his bat?? Weird, I know. Kinda sad though, as in, feel sorry for how messed up the guy is in the head to get to that point.
I think his mental though process went too far and like you said, I wonder what his wife would think if she knew he named the bat after her, as well as knowing what he was doing with it.
I’d be surprised if she agreed with him beating people to death lol. I’m not sure I’d want to be remembered that way.
Exactly. Admittedly, even if I think Negan's character development is interesting, I still think he's a psychopath and would never forgive him for all the people he had brutally killed. Even Rick can't trust or forgive Negan, after years. Maggie and everyone one else would have an even harder time to ever accept him. Unlike Dwight, he's a whole different story and circumstance.
Yeah, Negan is….. boy, I don’t have the time
Dwight however… I think there’s room for redemption. It won’t be easy but I do believe he has a chance still and I think he could be useful to the group right now, and I believe he could have a lot in common with Daryl, especially after this episode tonight RE: Sherry’s letter.
Clearly Daryl and Dwight are similar and idk, I wanna see some kinda of reconciliation.
Same. I have the feeling Glenn is going to get it. Everyone says Daryl, but no. I think all these fake out deaths amounted with the scenes he might be getting starting from this episode until the very end will be the end. They are totally setting it up. I'M NOT READY, and I DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE IT but I just got that gut feeling.
exactly…. especially after how “hopeful” that all was with baby Greene-Rhee…. D: they’re sweetening us up
WE STILL GOTTA HAVE HOPE… but we also need to be realistic at this point…
just the idea of glenn and maggie reuniting when TWD returns on february is enough to make me bawl. i can imagine it now. there's going to be a lot of hugging, kissing, crying, and just never letting go of each other. ugh.
grheene replied to your post “I’m in line at a haunted house at halloween horror nights and this guy...”
Please, let me know how all the haunted mazes at Universal turned out! And lol at that guy you overheard.
So I didn’t get to go in all the houses. I did 7 out of 9 plus one show so that isn’t too bad. Plus, I’m going back this Thursday with my sister. But anyways I liked most of the houses but I thought a couple of them were meh. The walking dead house was kind of creepy and I don’t know if it was because it was still light outside and my eyes hadn’t adjusted but it was sooo dark in there. That made it even more creepy because I didn’t know where to look for the walkers.
This year’s TWD house was better than last year’s but the first year is still the best. It combined S1 and S2 so it took you through the hospital where Rick woke up and in the store they were at in Atlanta. I don’t remember what was in the middle but at the end you’re going through the farm. It was just really cool and creepy.
The only bad thing about this year’s house is that to a casual viewer they would probably be lost because they took you through so many small rooms that were different locations so quickly through the house. For example they took us to the church but it was just the graveyard? Like they had an opportunity to use the terminates and the church pews and have figures sit on them. Oh and they did the thing with the revolving doors. :( My one friend who watches the show but not multiple times like me wasn’t sure where a lot of the locations were that we were walking through. They also did the food bank walkers which was pretty cool. If you get a chance to go you definitely should! But you have to go early or buy a multi-day pass because it’s so crowded that’s impossible to do everything in one night.
And omg that guy lol. He seriously thought it was Daryl and his friend was like no it was Shane. He said that he stopped watching after that because he didn’t care he just wanted to see more zombies. That’s exactly what makes the show so interesting though. Otherwise why would we care about the characters haha.
Sorry I put it under a read more because I started to ramble (shocking!). But if you want to know more just let me know. :)
