Hello! I've decided to draw three pieces that could potentially be made into real accessories in the future. I themed them after what else, PALEONTOLOGY!!! Here are some details about the pieces I made.
Henodus Fascinator Headband
Henodus was a large, herbivorous, brackish water, marine reptile from the late Triassic. Despite looking a lot like a turtle, it is not closely related to modern turtles and tortoises. I thought it looked like some ostentatious headwear, so I tried to design it as such.
Sinosauropteryx Suitcase!
Did you know that paleontologists actually figured out the coloration of Sinosauropteryx? It had similar coloration to a red panda. I thought a faux fur handle and striped sides would really add to the look
Carboniferous Heeled Loafers
The texture on the heel is supposed to resemble scale tree bark and there are dragonfly wing details on the front. I wouldn't reccomend walking in a swampy forest with these, so I don't think they neccisarily suit the epoch in anything other than aesthetics.
wof dragons r cool
top oc, spice, belongs to mookie on discord
Middle ocs are mine,, both unnamed
Last oc, griffinfly, belongs to @themoderngoblin
im going 2 talk about the middle characters because i might give them away if i dont vibe w/ them
the blue sandwing is a sea/sand and ex-scarlet prisoner mainly forced to make her elaborate décor and outfits for the queen. As of now, they are free and continue to make detailed and hand-made outfits and decor to sell for a hefty price.
the ice/sea hybrid is split perfectly down the middle with sea on the left side and ice on the right, they are assumed to be a royal curse since they are the child of an icewing princess and seawing prince and their appearance is judged heavily.
