Superman Vs. Batman Vs. Captain
Recently announced, Captain America 3 and Batman vs. Superman are set be released to theaters on the same day, May 6th, 2016, though, that can still change. We will see who, if anyone changes the date first, Marvel or DC. It is a possibility that there will be two major superhero movies in theaters on the same day. This will be the first time for this to happen and it will be chaotic.
I have been excited for both films. Superman and Captain America are two of my favorite superheroes. I found out about Batman vs. Superman a few months after Man of Steel came out. This will be different and exciting. I wondered what it would be like if two superheroes faced off. I like Captain America because he is originally from a time period that interests me a lot. I also think that it is cool that his body was frozen for so long and able to live in current times. Batman vs. Superman and Captain America 3 will be the top two movies I am looking forward to in 2016.
Neither movie has releaseed its plot yet, so I can’t give you much insight but, whatever it is, it will be good. Marvel and DC are good at staying true to the comics, with action packed scenes, great special and sound effects and keeping our attentions.
Now, could this start a huge rivalry between Marvel and DC fans? I think it could start a little one. If the Avengers was coming out the same day as a Justice League movie then that would be HUGE. If this same day release actually plays out, my plan is to buy tickets for one after the other. Which I can see other fans doing as well.
This probably isn’t good news for people who actually work at the movie theaters. I’m sure they know what to expect at new releases, more specifically superhero releases. I’m sure there is a difference. Either way they will have to stand their ground for the crazy fans of the three superheroes that are hitting the big screen.
