men's liberation is feminism btw. learning the ways that the patriarchy affect different types of men is feminism btw. we are all affected under patriarchy but especially those under intersectional identities.
yes, "men" at base have privileges. those privileges are steadily revoked based off of the type of man or masculine you are. men/mascs/butches of color, transmascs, masculine trans women, transfem butches, cis butches, and transmasc butches.
but especially let's remember that transmascs and butches are victims of corrective rape just as much as anyone else. saying this as a transmasc who has been sexually harassed by BOTH cis men and cis women.
transmascs get viewed as if they're playing dress-up or delusional tomboys who need to be fixed– ESPECIALLY if they have PCOS in my personal experience because my doctors have recently determined that it must be the thing that makes me "feel like a man".
they are also raped to remind them of their place or to convince them that they are secretly just a broken or mislead lesbian/sapphic/whathaveyou.
this is DUE TO their adjacency to masculinity because it is viewed as wrong. the presentation of their identity is viewed as wrong.
intersectionality has dramatically changed from the years it was founded if we are playing in the fields of "sex does not equal gender" and "presentation does not equal gender/sex".
so while "men" at a base have privileges– those who try to "mimic" this tend to be mocked, berated, and shamed. those who aren't living their fullest to that extent to the point of being perfectly masculine and straight (see: choosing to not stealth, being feminine, gay, choosing to wear makeup, etc.) are EQUALLY mocked, berated, and shamed.
men's liberation is about dismantling that and improving everyone under the umbrella that is affected, once again: tmascs, masculine trans women, transfem butches, cis butches, and tmasc butches.
being so for real when I say I think telling transmascs and trans men that they can have top surgery and go by she/her is just a blurred line of TE/RF and TI/RF rhetoric except they're playing gay chicken about holding hands. if someone wanted to be a cis woman without boobs they would say so
in my head Big Boss is a stone top. thank you for coming to my tedtalk
waking up with a raging headache and constantly thinking about "no dude, she's not a 'tsundere', she just fucking hates you" bc of last night's events
if my next sleep paralysis demon is a horse with ram horns I'm breaking into your house, putting all of your condiments just past the property line, and supergluing them there
me observing the line of condiments held down by liquidized horses
I really do think I am having one of those experiences where my body is accumulating stress and I overtly ignore the signs because it doesn't register as stress anymore
