Grimy! I've missed you and I'm so glad you're back at it. Your content is always amazing and it's so nice to see it on my dashboard again.
I actually got terminated in 2020, and wrote an article about the experience because it really was heart-breaking for me after ten years of blogging.
"It hasn’t been the same since before the porn purge, but Tumblr continued to be a place where I was able to talk freely and share my ideas, reviews, articles, and personal life with what active followers I had left. However, a wave of account terminations have been taking place on Tumblr in the last month, and it was only a matter of time until the end for me. Unfortunately, that time has come."
They reinstated this blog (my main is a SFW blog) a few years later and honestly, it's been really quiet on my blog since.
It is absolutely WILD to me how low my engagement is with nearly 100K followers on here. They're mostly ghost blogs or bots at this point and it's really weird and...lonely?
Don't get me wrong, there's still some 🔥 content on tumblr but great creators get terminated quickly and often while black & white porn blogs persist and sex work is not the lucrative hustle it once was on here (rip 2014 tumblr).
Tumblr communities (the concept, not the website feature--which is a thing, I guess?) aren't what they were, in my opinion. I find that a lot of my friends on here are the blogs I've known for 10+ years, but I am silently following a lot of new creators and enjoy their content.
Anyways, I'm rambling and I'm pretty sure that didn't answer what you were asking but I'm so glad you're back and I hope you find a way to carve yourself a home on here again, because I love seeing you around and I hope to hear more about what life is like for you now. 🖤
