3. Best game I’ve ever played (so far) was Metal Gear Solid 4 for the first time. The controls for MGS4 were actually quite intuitive, using the OctoCamo to hide instead of having to rely so much on the shadows and blending in with whatever camo I had on was a very nice change of pace. It’s also the one that really screwed with my head and my emotions sooooo much. Keep in mind I’ve been playing the Metal Gear series since MGS1 came out on the PS1 and I was only 11 years old at the time. My best friend Yusef and I got hugely invested in the story as a whole and we both fucking cried when I beat MGS4 myself and watched the whole post-game scene with Big Boss and Snake at Arlington Cemetery I did have some help from him because I got stuck in a couple areas and I didn’t want to chuck the controller at the screen and whatnot out of frustration. I felt complete, whole, like I just finished a good story. I have since gone back and beat the game after the trophies were implemented and I do want to do a trophy run in MGS4.

4. One of the worst games I’ve ever played was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. I did start a file on another friend’s game but that one particular scene (it’s so bad I can’t even bring it up without wanting to barf) made me feel absolutely dirty and I also did some online matches and it was just like ‘wtf how the hell did I get sniped and shit’. The salt was REAL in the online matches, I swear. I was up against fucking pros (well that’s what it seemed like to me) but the controls and gameplay was actually decent. I had never played a game before where I felt like such an asshole and evil person in general.

5. A popular series/game I just can’t get into has to be Final Fantasy. I like my fantasy games, sure, and of course JRPGS and RPGS, but there’s like a wall between me and Final Fantasy. At some point I need to play FF7 (never got around to it at the time because Yusef didn’t have it at the time and MGS1 was the bigger draw for us) and while I know it’s insanely popular, I just bring myself to get into it. Also what happened with FFXII-2 and Lightning and how that ended (it was so bad that Jessie Cox ended up ragequitting and I frankly don’t blame him one bit) has really dulled my taste.

Tbh, I barely play league at all anymore. I just watch competitive tournaments. So, no disrespect but: no, I won’t send my summoner name (even though it’s probably relatively easy to find it somewhere on my blog/guess) and if you want to see how you measure up against someone higher than silver, the easy solution would be to climb out of silver :)
