Aw man my brother Chaney posted this to my Facebook page this morning, MAN I MISS HAWK! Much love to Meshah and the whole Hawkins family, this video is really fun to watch.

I was at that studio A LOT (comparatively, I tend to avoid studios). That studio in fact was like one block from where I spent a good part of my Houston life pre-1994, just off Holly Hall and Almeda. I took photos for Murder Dog there, interviewed Hawk and Grit Boys and Paul Wall and more there. Those were the daze indeed.

Still hard to believe Hawk is gone. So happy to know all my Grit Brothers are still here and all have new music this year. Carrying the torch for the 5 Star General and then some. Thanks for this Chaney.
