I think I missed something in the story because I don't really get why Rakkatak is a bad guy. I'm not exactly rooting for him but so far he seems reasonable enough. Like he wants to marry Ludo which is sketchy but it seems like arranged marriage is the norm in this world so

we also don’t know the whole story yet! the whole rakkatak situation came as a surprise to ludovica, so there might be something that only remy and rakkatak know about. people just don’t like him because he is being kind of a prick.

(also he is trying to get married with ludo so he can get his lost status back, and now that ludo got engaged to jamis instead... he is trying to get the next best thing from remy, which is frivolous amounts of money. )

I have a question about Xolito - can a player evolve one once it's caught? Or can it not evolve because it's no longer wild?

The only thing that determines whether or not a Xolito can evolve is its ability which is dependent in the location you caught it in. So Xolito that spawn around towns like Adobo Town or Gabravo city have the ability Cute Charm and can’t evolve while Xolito that spawn in the Desert are (which i just realized i never came up with a name for lol) spawn with the ability Defiant and can evolve into Coyohete. (Xolito with its hidden ability also can’t evolve into Coyohete for the record but it’s supposed to help them out stat wise)

I can’t say I’m overly fond of the line but I like the location based evolution, I like gimmicks tbh I’m so easily amused. Prevo + Wormadam shinies make me cry BUT MOTHIM’S SHINY!HE IS VERY NICE!

Have you ever successfully re-inked dice by LittleCLUUs? I feel like the number indentations aren't deep enough to properly hold new paint.

I haven’t been brave enough to try tbh, they’re so pricey that I’d hate to accidentally ruin them. Their texture is slightly bumpy and I feel like that would be easy to mess up.

If I have a card that's very badly damaged is it still a legal magic card? if it's so damaged even sleeves wouldn't disguise it, could I use something like a checklist card to represent it in my deck? thanks

Yes, it’s still a real Magic card.

However, if it’s badly damaged to the point where it’s impossible to not have it be marked while in your deck, then you’re out of luck and won’t be able to play the card in tournaments. (Unless the card is a double-faced card, of course, in which case you can use the appropriate checklist card in your deck.)

Checklist cards are only usable for the specific double-faced cards they list. They’re not universal stand-ins for any card you want to represent in a deck.

The only situation where you’ll be allowed to play a stand-in for a damaged card in a tournament is if that card became damaged through play at that tournament. In this case, the Head Judge is allowed to issue you a proxy to stand in for the card in your deck for that tournament only. You can’t play the proxy in other events.

Are Ludo and Remy identical twins or do they just have a strong resemblance?

They have a few years of age difference, Remy being the older sibling! They do get confused as twins often in canon, though : D
