lizzie. i know. as celebration for making making the blog. you should rant about the king of rottingham forest episode. because nothing makes me happier than salt on that episode--- ))

    OH BOY HERE WE GO——

         LETS TALK ABOUT THE MESS THAT IS THE KING OF ROTTINGHAM FOREST. I can very honestly say that it is a shit load of wasted potential. They could have gone so many different ways for an interesting Kid Rot episode, but no, INSTEAD we have him rotting a forest so that he can get Abby’s attention. That’s is literally the whole episode, an Abby-obsessed Kid Rot wreaking havoc on the forest JUST so he can try and impress her and win her over. And when she rejects his advances, he decides that he is going to rot everything, which he was going to do anyway. It doesn’t even make sense that he is so obsessed with Abby tbh (he was so obsessed that he made a rot portrait of her face on the side of a mountain, and I just? Why was this necessary?).

       Okay, I DID like that he was so much stronger than when we last saw him. His powers were very cool and I loved seeing what he could do. But it was a waste. He didn’t have any real motive but to rot everything and maybe get Abby on his side. But then what? I don’t think he had a place for after. Like I said, they could have gone so many things differently, they didn’t have to make the parasite so gaga over Abby but they did. They could have given him a more compelling character arc, give him a chance at redemption. Maybe have Ty and Abby actually make an attempt at getting through to CHESTER because he’s GOTTA be in there somewhere.

         THAT is what bugs me the most, they didn’t even show that Chester was there. He just up and vanished without a trace. Sure, Kid could simply just be purposely be keeping him down, because he needs to remain control over the body, but they didn’t even hint to that at all. Now THAT could have made for an interesting episode, the grossologists trying to stop Kid Rots havoc wreaking by trying to get through to the boy being controlled by the parasite.

         Also at the end of the episode, ty and abby didn’t seem all that phased that they might have just killed a guy. The tidal wave of rot just devours him and that’s it. They didn’t even bother to look for him all that hard either. Kids hand was sticking out, it could have been mistaken for a stick but it was close to the rocks I don’t understand why they didn’t bother to check it out.

          smh. It was just a really bad episode over all, and all the rot puns Kid made didn’t help at all. I’m ashamed that I actually chuckled at them. Still the episode is horrible and was such a waste of a cool character and it upsets me.
