camping trip; the boys

Getting Professor Cooper to agree to the camping trip for Keaton was as easy as breathing. Finn had made sure it was Gabe's turn to plan the event since Finn threw the surprise party. Heading straight for Dylan first, he made sure to ask him and making it clear that it would not only be for Keaton's birthday, but also to kick off the New Year. It didn't take much for the man to give the okay and a few days after New Years, all the boys made a plan to meet up at the Cooper residence. 

The house was small but had a certain air of warmth to it and Gabe sat on the couch, the boy's bags quickly filling the space, their belongings waiting to be filed into the car. Dylan said that they would drive and drop the boys up into the mountains and return in three days. Everything was planned out perfectly, they would be left alone and Gabe was excited to have some quality time with no one else but his friends, hoping to forget his spat with Maddi.

Once all the boys were ready, they all grabbed a couple of bags and headed to the driveway were Dylan's mini van was, Keaton taking the passengers seat while the rest of the boys fought to find space in the back. Settling down finally, the car started and the boys were off toward the wilderness.
