Basic Income and Food
Everyone should have enough to live on. I’m trying to make that a little closer to reality.
There’s a digital currency distributed as a universal basic income called Grantcoin. It’s distributed by the nonprofit Grantcoin Foundation. The problem as I’m writing this is that there isn’t a whole lot you can do with it, so I’m trying to change that.
The main idea with GRT Mart is to sell shelf-stable food as close to cost as possible, and we only accept Grantcoin as payment. A basic income needs to be able to buy the basics, and food is definitely high on that list.
We currently ship to the US (including AK and HI), Guam, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands. Here’s a signup link for Grantcoin distributions, and here’s our current inventory. (Please note: both you and the referrer get extra for a year of Grantcoin distributions by using a referral code)
