noon (or like 12:30pm or something), grand central station and met with @miluda liz and @gruffghost
ate food at the downstairs place, I got a bagel with cream cheese because it was the least expensive thing
took subway to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Liz and mokou went off browsing things on their own; @miluda and I walked around the first floor and sat around because sitting is nice
~1:30pm? @tuyoki and hugu arrived; tuyo brought all these nice drawings for everyone and they are really nice and good
sat around at one of the japanese rock garden things on the 2nd floor and then walked around, met up with mokou again and wandered around the 2nd floor and various things involving almost touching the artwork and one of the guards probably not liking it
~5:15pm the museum was closing so we went back to the 1st floor, waited for liz and then got our coats and bags and stuff from the check-in
sat outside on the steps and watched people performing. There was this one guy playing the saxophone who knew a lot of different national songs such as china and korea and taiwan and mexico etc and I guess some other performers right next to him (who seemed to be getting much more attention) who were doing something or other but I wasn't paying attention to them
took subway to chinatown (the 6 train decided it wanted to be an express train)
~7pm. went to the New Malaysia restaurant, and apparently they renovated and opened up a new part of the restaurant that used to be part of another restaurant and it was nice. People took out their sketchbooks and drew things and then later ate. I didn't finish the noodles I got, there was so much and it was good but like wow there was so much
walked to various places such as the new Chinatown Fair (still depressing) and the park near Grand St. station and sat there but there were rats and stuff
~9pm, took subway to 34th street and went to that one korean food court we always go to. Went upstairs and everyone drew a bunch of things and here's some of what I drew and tuyoki drew a cool gumi for me and it was good
11:15pm went home
