So. I am myself minus one gallbladder now. Had emergency surgery on Saturday. In a lot of pain from the incisions and the sliced up muscles. That and it's amazing how many things activate your core muscles... Ow.

Work gives me a certificate to recognize my “hard work” during the recent flooding in our city!
Work forgets to change the name in the template so half of it reads like a thank-you to someone else... The certificate is in comic sans.
Work gives me a $50 gift card to recognize my service!
Work tells me I can’t activate it for three days while the check gets cleared. A week later...I can’t activate the card.
I really hate “reblog this or else” posts. It’s a surefire way to get me to not reblog it. Even if “it could save a life.”
Re: FFxivWrite
While I have a catch-up (Devil’s Advocate) and an extra credit to write for the 26th prompt, neither is going to get done before the next prompt tomorrow. This bothers me. A lot. I know it shouldn’t, but it’s hard for a completionist to not complete something. I just don’t have the brain power tonight and I’m going to bed shortly and when I’m up, it’s straight to work with no time to write something. I can’t even put a few words on the page. THIS is being written during a lull in raid content with friends. I just... I’m frustrated. And I’m mad at myself for being fussy about it in the first place.
That’s just what I need. Another sub-blog.
No, brain, you may not have one.
I really hate it when the new shiny thing comes along and I’m left waiting for them to one day remember I’m around.
You know, I thought about coming back to WoW, but then I looked at the places I used to be and realized there’s no spot for me now. It’s unrecognizable to me. If I come back, it’s probably going to be on a non-social level. I love my characters, but no one needs them anymore.
In other news, tomorrow is my four-year wedding anniversary. Stupid pandemic.
