A few quick pics from a recent hike to Square Top Lakes, near Dillon, Colorado.✌️

Beautiful scenery, with the 14er, Mount Bierstadt in the distance. We sat and had snacks by the lakes. Saw a deer with beautiful antlers roaming through the brush. Burned over 1,000 calories according to my watch. 🥵 Also used this hike as a break from working full time and constantly studying for grad school classes - trying to remember that I still need to take time for myself and get out in nature. 🍂

A swarm of tiny midges at Squaretop Lake at Guanella pass, Colorado. They would settle on the ground when the wind picked up and alight again when the air was still. They were very charming.
