Ella had been swarmed with paperwork. It was starting to take a toll since she managed to cook dinner, but never ate. Head leaning on her knuckles, she sighed, eyes straining to stay awake, she felt his hand. She lifted herself, pretending she wasn’t dozing off herself as she glanced up, glad to see something else besides paper and text.“Darling, all this paperwork needs to get done soon… I can’t risk losing the cafe.” She explained, hoping it was enough to let him go. But maybe he had a point. She turned back to her work and sighed, rubbing her sore and tired eyes.

“Si, maybe you’re right. C'mon, let’s go.” She grunted as she pushed herself up, bones cracking and settling into place as she released a long yawn, thus further proving his point.
