anyone have any ideas for swaps for jamboree?
22/8/22 // 22.28
Coffee and pancakes that I made for breakfast the other day. I’m back from camp (had the absolute best time of my life, watch me NEVER shut up about it), and I’m shattered. I also went out until 3am for a leaving do this weekend so I’m doubly tired. I promise I will catch up with peoples messages soon but for now, I’m catching up on ALL the sleep and enjoying my bed instead of a tent.

In case anyone is wondering about the inactivity, I just got back from girl guide camp.
Let me know if you’re interested in hearing any of the Waco stories of what we got up to 😆
Days 237, 238, 239 and 240
Have had a lovely weekend camping, but am now very happy to be back home, and in a real bed. Didn’t really too to much ‘creative’ but I have been making a friendship bracelet with a twist - we were all given 5 threads of the same colour, and then had to swap 4 of them, which was a great way of talking to new people. I also decorated a tote bag - haven’t got a photo of that yet though. I learnt a new way of lighting a fire, and discovered a wonderful thing called a flint - so much better than matches! I also did some Tai Chi on Saturday, and loved it so much I did it again on Sunday. I also tired to learn how to use Flower Sticks. They are so much fun, even though all i can do is flip them about 5 times before dropping it. I also did some Archery which was brilliant fun, and I got on the Bullseye, on the outside edge! First shot.. Then the others were bad. Hit the target each time though which is something. Was able to watch the Beauty and the Beast film with Emma Watson in it, which was amazing, and spent some time reading, The Lovely Bones, by Alice Sebold. 90 pages in and hooked! - Well was hooked after 3/4 pages to be honest. Haven’t done anything creative today, as I’m far to tired, got back to the flat after 7 pm, so then had a long soak in the bath tub, and read for a bit, and now it’s time for sleep!
Hopefully off to a massive art supply shop tomorrow!
