Btw you don't have to look a certain way to be jirai or even dress a certain way. All you need is an explosive personality and if you fit that term and like it, you're a real jirai.

yeah, i was expecting a response like that. let me explain everything to you, the other day on tiktok i saw this jirai who said that you had to at least have bangs to be one…. and i dont have that.. of course she said other things but just the first unwritten law (the criteria) or written but who really knows?! i know the origin but.. why do some people attribute it to one thing? because of some jealous thing and all like explosive? i understand because… yo i understand… so i was sad and i felt guilty saying that i am one when i dont have bangs for example…. i want to admit it.. i use the hashtag to that point maybe.. i admit i am not an original japanese jirai from over there but i am looking for a community at my young age to grow and learn to communicate.. i dont have the look but if you say its fine then thank you i feel validated… but i am sure that many dont see me as jirai but…. after all, the community is neither a cult nor a political thing so… what the point of not accepting others… or maybe its a japanese-only thing… or im lost.. but thank you for the ask.. i like interacting.

☥ Week 113 - Guilt This week I would like to discuss the undeserved guilt we feel.

I always feel bad when I take naps that go on for hours and the world moves on without me,

It is dark outside, I missed dinner, I did not text my friends back immediately, I did not do homework…

And then I get upset. Why did nobody wake me up? Somebody should have woken me. But no, it is my fault. I know I should have set an alarm, I should have known I would fall asleep so deeply.

Why did the world go on without me? Why can I not keep up? Please wait, I promise I will not fall asleep again, just to keep up.

Adrienette stans are so starved for ship content that we deadass zoomed in on a trailer and will live off this crumb of the back of their heads for the next week

So my therapist gave me a book about trauma and stuff like that and when I saw these illustrations I immeadetly had to think of Adrien. It basically just explains how the abuse/ neglect from a close person affects a child and why it makes you feel guilty, depressed and self conscious. It's exactly what we see in Adrien and it explains it very well.

I think we can all agree that Gabriel Agreste is abusive.

Of course Adrien hates this but there's nothing he can do about it. He can't leave, he has probably thought about it when the situation escalates or worsens but there's nowhere he could go, he depends on his father so he has to stay.

Of course it hurts Adrien unbelievable much that he's not loved, that his father doesn't seem to care about him and has no problem with hitting and manipulating him. His father is the only parent he has so a part of his mind (in the picture that weird ghost) starts telling him the way he's treated by his father is actually his fault. Meaning for child and later teen Adrien, his father is actually a good person who just had to act this way because Adrien is a bad son. He can continue to love his father. It's the only way Adrien can survive this situation.

These thoughts that were actually supposed to help Adrien start to develop into a huge problem for him. They manifest as the way he sees himself, as a bad person who's responsibile for everything bad, leaving him depressed, angry and insecure.
