Nirvana and Soundgarden in a May 1994 issue of Guitar School magazine.
Why did it take 5 months after for these concerts took place to get the reviews published? Who knows! At least it got published.
The Nirvana show at the Seattle Center Arena, their second to last American show, was released on the In Utero 30th anniversary boxset. The photo is weirdly from their show at Roseland Ballroom that took place about 2 months earlier.
The Soundgarden show I believe remains unsurfaced, or at least the Louder Than Live guide doesn't mention anything being surfaced. I don't know if the photo is from the show, but I would guess probably not.
“That riff was actually a mistake I made one day at rehearsal. Sean and I were goofing around and I came up with this riff as a joke, but Sean was like, ‘Do that again - that was great!’ I didn’t think anything would come of it, but once we put it together, I realized that it could work. At the time I was just kidding around, playing it with this goofy look on my face.”
