గల్ఫ్ దేశాల్లో మొదలైన యుద్ధ భారతీయ సామాన్యుడి వంటగదిపైనే కాకుండా, రైతాంగంపై కూడా కోలుకోలేని దెబ్బ తీసేలా కనిపిస్తుంది. అమెరికా, ఇజ్రాయెల్, ఇరాన్ మధ్య ముదురుతున్న ఉద్రిక్తతలు భారత ఎరువుల రంగాన్ని, ఇంధన భద్రతను తీవ్ర సంక్షోభంలోకి నెట్టే ప్రమాదం పొంచి ఉంది.
పశ్చిమాసియాలో జరుగుతున్న యుద్ధం భారత్కు సవాలుగా మారింది. ఇప్పటి వరకు ప్రవాసీయులకే పరిమితమైన ఈ ప్రభావం, ఇప్పుడు నేరుగా భారతీయ రైతుల పంట పొలాలకు, సామాన్యుల వంటగదులకు విస్తరిస్తోంది. ప్రధానంగా ఎరువుల తయారీకి అవసరమైన ముడిపదార్థాల సరఫరా నిలిచిపోవడంతో దేశంలో ఎరువుల కొరత తీవ్రమయ్యే సూచనలు కనిపిస్తున్నాయి.
భారతదేశంలో యూరియా ఉత్పత్తి చేసే 32 ప్లాంట్లలో దాదాపు 30 ప్లాంట్లు ఖతర్ నుంచి దిగుమతి అయ్యే నాఫ్తాపైనే ఆధారపడి ఉన్నాయి. అయితే, యుద్ధం కారణంగా నాఫ్తాను సరఫరా చేయలేమని ఖతర్ తాజాగా ప్రకటించడం భారత ప్రభుత్వానికి మింగుడు పడటం లేదు. ఇతర దేశాల నుంచి నాఫ్తా కొనాలంటే ప్రస్తుతం చెల్లిస్తున్న దానికంటే మూడింతలు ఎక్కువ ధర చెల్లించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. దీనికి తోడు రవాణా మార్గాల్లో (హర్మోజ్ జలసంధి) ఇరాన్ ఆంక్షలు ఉండటంతో సరఫరా పూర్తిగా స్తంభించింది. యుద్ధం ఇలాగే కొనసాగితే రానున్న రోజుల్లో ఎరువుల ధరలు సామాన్యుడికి అందనంత ఎత్తుకు చేరుతాయని విశ్లేషకులు హెచ్చరిస్తున్నారు. టన్ను యూరియా ధర వెయ్యి డాలర్లు (రూ. 91,742) దాటే అవకాశం ఉంది. ప్రస్తుతం 850 డాలర్లున్న టన్ను DAP ధర, వెయ్యి డాలర్లకు చేరవచ్చని అంచనా. భారత ఫర్టిలైజర్ అసోసియేషన్ ప్రకారం.. దేశీయ అవసరాలకు దిగుమతులే కీలకం. ఈ సరఫరా నిలిచిపోతే వచ్చే వేసవి నాట్ల సమయానికి దేశంలో ఎరువుల కొరత తీవ్రమై రైతు సంక్షోభానికి దారితీయవచ్చు. సల్ఫర్, డీఏపీ ముడిపదార్థాలు సరఫరా చేసే సౌదీ అరేబియా, మొరాకో, జోర్డాన్ వంటి దేశాల నుంచి కూడా రవాణా మార్గాలు మూసుకుపోవడంతో భారత ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థపై యుద్ధ ప్రభావం స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తోంది.
సహజ వాయువుకూ తిప్పలే!
భారత్ దిగుమతి చేసుకునే సహజ వాయువులో 40 శాతం (ఏటా 2.7 కోట్ల టన్నులు) ఖతర్ నుంచే వస్తుంది. తమ ప్లాంట్లపై ఇరాన్ దాడులతో ఉత్పత్తిని నిలిపివేస్తున్నట్లు ఖతర్ ప్రకటించడంతో ప్రపంచ గ్యాస్ ధరలు ఒక్కసారిగా పెరిగాయి. ఎర్ర సముద్రంలో హుతీల దాడులు, హర్మోజ్ జలసంధి మూసివేత వల్ల భారత్కు రావాల్సిన గ్యాస్ నౌకలు (రాహీ, అసీం వంటివి) గుజరాత్ తీరంలోనే నిలిచిపోయాయి. దీనివల్ల దేశవ్యాప్తంగా వంటగ్యాస్ సరఫరాకు తీవ్ర అంతరాయం కలిగే ప్రమాదం ఉంది.
