what the fuck
DRIVING IS FUN
So I went to go get Sonic at about 9:20 because i hadn't had dinner yet and couldn't leave because apparently somebody needed a moving truck with more storage space than any house in the neighborhood. I pull out of the driveway and as i leave the neighborhood and approach the light, a guy turns right toward my neighborhood from 141 and half of their car is in the left turn lane, so I have to wait for them to decide to get out of my line. Then I get to the light to turn left and proceed to sit through two full traffic cycles without a single light chance. I eventually gave up, backed up, and turned right since I can do that on the Infinite Red.
As I approach the road i should have been on 7 minutes ago, I have to stop and wait because there's a car coming and the light is green so I have to yield. Apparently this person was turning left except they never signaled so I didn't know that they were turning until they started, wasting even more of my time.
I get to the sonic and have to wait a minute or two to actually place my order at the drive-thru for some reason. I then get my food and have to wait for a slow moving truck to get out of my way so I can get back on Abbott's and head home.
As i'm coming back and approaching my old high school, I very narrowly miss hitting a cyclist who was cycling
without any protective gear
without any lights on their bike
on a frequently-traveled road
on the wrong side
IN THE DARK OF THE NIGHT
I was pissed
i've been pretty consistently happy for almost a month. really the only bad thing that's happened has been the accident and that hasn't been terrible. it helps that i have a lot to look forward to and that all of my work to graduate in spite of my health payed off
yep, my legs are sore
im neither surprised nor happy
move-in day is in 34 days holy shit
