had a dream that someone on tumblr posted this picture of a fucked up AK with like leather belts around it and described it as a "Post-Collapse American Rifle" that basically was a bolt action but the most cursed bit was the mag catch latch that was literally a toggle latch welded on somehow. this was somehow part of a Civ style game where you ruled the wastelands or tried to anyway, and one of the most important things was developing precision machine tools ASAP so you didn't have to use jank ass things like the toggle latch magazine

Oh I finally got my pistol back last night. Dad said he has no issues after I had it sent away for repairs and the target he shot with it looked great so here’s to hoping it’s all good now 👌🏻

I’m a literal idiot. I really got my gun back from being repaired and forgot to give my dad a magazine to he can test fire it and make sure Glock actually fixed my firing pin.

Glock really tried to say the issue with the gun was due to how it was being shot, which sure makes sense if I was the one shooting but my dad is a sport shooter who is pretty fuckin good it misfired for him too and my husband is was even like “your dad shot this and had issues too right?” Just to be sure it wasn’t just me.

About a 5th of the rounds we put through it misfired.

I haven’t even had this gun 2 months 😩

I just want it back.

I put like 50 rounds through my new gun and my dad was like “that thing isn’t working right” bc it kept misfiring. I had 2 factory ammo brands and my dad’s reloads and it happened about 7 times 🙃

So I probably have to send it back to Glock to have it fixed.
