Day 183 of 365; It was another uneventful day and all I had were GunPla and some panel line tools. To I was able to finish panel lining all of my kits now. I wanted to do the detailing but I remembered I don't have the brushes for it so perhaps that would be for another time. I still haven't touched the three Eva kits since I'm planning to have the elbow joints recasted so i would have spare parts if in case I mess up. Day 182 of 365; I was supposed to go and visit Charlie's grave with my kumare @ada_ordinaryo. However, perhaps due to the stress from yesterday's Pride March and perhaps lack of sleep, I overslept and I missed the trip altogether. And I feel bad for not being able to visit Charlie when I had the chance. But she said there will be next time which I will kill myself if I miss it again. So I simply decided to continue working on these two wolves. The Lupus and the Lupus Rex got really nice and awesome surface details that I could consider it to be a mortal gunpla sin if you wouldn't panel line it. These kits requires love and careful attention in order to make them stand out. The missing color apps are easy enough to paint and I'd probably do the painting in a month or so or once I get some new decent brushes. I miss Charlie more because of working on the Rex as it was his favorite suit. Day 176 of 365; Who said you can't do toy photography using a smartphone? This one is processed by the way but the original photo is as good. I simply reduced the shadows because I was holding my phone in one hand and the lighting on the other. I know this isn't one of my better shots but hey, at least I'm still practicing. I just wish I have a laptop and a decent camera to do this toy photography better, but at least the shot is good, but not good enough. Day 174 of 365; Comparing maces. the first mace, the medium one, from the HG Barbatos, then the two cute little twin maces from HG MS Option set 5 intended for the HG Barbatos Lupus, and lastly the Ultra-large Mace for the HG Barbatos Lupus Rex. I've always love maces. Day 173 of 365; I was building the HG Barbatos Lupus Rex when my phone beeped. Chael, my friend's kid, was asking me what's the name of the gunpla he just got. I simply answered his questions and then it hit me. The Lupus Rex was his Ahia's favorite Gundam, and what he was doing was Charlie's old habit, sending me PMs using their mom's account. I suddenly remembered, it's almost July. Maybe he doesn't want to be forgotten, well, no one does. Praying for you dear and your family! Day 163 of 365; I finally decided to bust open this kit that has been in my shelf since February. It's not much and I'm a little disappointed since the MS option set 5 I ordered got cancelled because apparently, they ran out of stock and the store didn't know how to tell me. Good thing I didn't pay yet so no harm done. Took me 3 hours to cleanly build the torso part and the head and so far so good. I got remained why I love GunPla and why I shouldn't quit building. Day 141 of 365; Selling kits of is something I wish to avoid. But whenever I need the money, or I realized I didn't like the kit that much compared to the time I bought it, I had to let go. It's not my first time to let go of my own kits. Last year, when I was in a pinch because of graduation fees and stuff, I sold my PG Unicorn and my first MG Duel Gundam. Now, I'm not really in a pinch but I had to let go of my scraped kits and this RX78-2 3.0 by Daban is one of them. He isn't really a scrap but i simply messes up his right hand so I couldn't build him properly anymore so I decided to let it sit for a while and thought of making it a diorama. But since I wanted to get a replacement kit for my Eva Unit 1, I decided to let go of him, and some other kits. A total of 8 kits is in the list for sale and luckily, someone who's interested got the lot for the fair price we've agreed upon. I'll be delivering the kits to him by this weekend and perhaps, will buy the replacement eva by first week of june.
