After a rainy Monday for the deer gun opener we a good bit of snow on Tuesday.
He weighed in at 155lbs and I brought home over 60lbs of burger not counting all my chops and steaks. My hunting partner thinks I should have it mounted. I paid an extra $30 to have it caped while I think about what I want to do.
I’ve never missed a doe with my gun. I’ve bragged about hitting deer constantly with my mossburg 695 bolt action 12ga at well over 150yards. But this week I missed two nice bucks that were both under 100yards before sealing the deal with this nice eight point. My biggest buck yet. Feeling pretty grateful. Normally you don’t get a second chance and I got a third.
