This has been a really shit week.

I didn’t seriously think we wouldn’t be in the gold medal match. I don’t even know how to process this.

Right?  This just seems so completely unfathomable.  I seriously was not even worried.  It was just the reality.  Like water is wet, the earth is round, the USWNT will be in the final match... now the whole universe is out of whack.

This is literally me at O'Charleys and we like bonded over being vegetarian and my friends kept giving me looks and saying shit and I almost freaking died

Seriously though. Also it's really weird for me to watch athletes with jewelry. I did karate, track, and rugby. Strict guidelines against jewelry. It's always neat to see differences like that.

i played soccer and softball for years growing up and the rules were always so strict about no jewelry. I can understand why bc flailing arms and gear but then I guess at some point you can pick up a necklace or bracelet for superstitions.

Just wanted to say I'm really digging your Olympic!Kara AU. I'm a shotokan karate martial artist myself and though taekwondo is a different style and the language and all that is different, I'm really relating and enjoying what you're doing. Just the little stuff you include makes me miss my dojo and actively practicing. Also who isn't a slut for the Olympics? Keep up the great work!

Thank you so much! Are you gonna start practising again? I do enjoy the Olympics, but I must admit, being Canadian, I'm much more interested in the winter ones with all the curling and hockey and cross country skiing.
