[Image: a black pen drawing of The Disciple and the Signless sharing a nap. She leans against his shoulder with her eyes shut peacefully, one leg bent and laid out on the ground in front of her, calf tucked under her thigh, and the other bent with her knee raised in the air, foot planted on the ground off-panel. He wraps an arm around her shoulders, sitting criss-cross with his other hand relaxed over his legs to barely touch the ground, and isn’t quite asleep, peeking one eye open to sneak a glimpse of her.
The characters use gutterwatergoblin’s designs: The Disciple wears a fur over her shoulders, then a tank top revealing muscled arms, and loose-fitting pants, barefoot. Her horns angle inward, and she has an insect-like mandible with little horn-style protrusions on either side of her cat-like mouth, pointing down and inward. Her long, slightly messy hair comes partway down her arms, and she has short facial hair. The Signless wears a black top with lighter-colored fabric draped over it and short lighter-colored bottoms, two bone and tooth bead necklaces, a finer string of beads hanging down his forehead between his horns, a shawl with tassles, and boots. His hair is mostly loose and curly, but here and there in braids/dreads (it isn’t my design, I wasn’t sure, but drew the former) with gold rings around them, and he has short facial hair and leg hair. His sclera are black, his horns begin right at his forehead rather than the typical hidden-in-the-hair Homestuck style, and he has the same kind of mandible, to: his much smaller.]
I’m so in love with @gutterwatergoblin‘s Disciple design that I had to draw her. And then had to draw her being Loved, and therefore had to draw Signless, and remembered how in love with their Signless design I am maybe even more.
They take a Nap. You can’t see it very well, but Signless is drawn to be Peekin over at her when he’s supposed to be sleeping.
