@guttr-bot Continued from Here.
Trust was not something that came easily to Soundwave. Autobots were undeserving of it, and medics even more so. Ratchet was both of those things. A mech that could easily be over powered in a fight, but was the most dangerous of Autobots when you were under his knife.
When Ratchet approached, servos up in a show of peace, Soundwave still backpedaled. His speakers hissed and spat static. Energon spilled down his side and leg, its metallic scent coating the air in a thick layer. His data cables were out, their prongs sparking with electricity in a very obvious request that Ratchet back off.
But, Soundwave did not have the upper ground in this situation. His leg refused to hold his weight, and he fell to one knee. His attempts at summoning a ground bridge were futile, and any messages he tried to send out were blocked. Whether it was because of the Autobots, or because something had happened to the Decepticon comms array, was impossible to tell. Soundwave stared Ratchet down through his cracked visor, energon leaking from between the gaps. "You're going to irritate me further," Soundwave played, purposely grabbing bits of Ratchet's words and rearranging them.
