Here’s Gwennol! She’s a very old tundra.

(tomswifty-fr) For the name asks, if you're still doing them: Nuvema, Gwennol, and Sinclair :)

Nuvema! I named her after the starting town in Pokemon Black and White! Unova is my favorite pokemon region so I thought it’d be a cute nod to that! Plus she’s a cartographer, so being named after a town felt fitting!

Gwennol came with her name! It appears to have come from FR’s name generator based on the thousands of exalted dragons with this name omg. it’s a nice name though! A more fantasy version of Gwendolyn C:

And Sinclair! It doesn’t really have significance, but it’s a name I’ve been wanting to use for a character since I first learned about Upton Sinclair in middle school! I actually chose to read The Jungle specifically because i liked the guy’s name haha. I just thought it had a very nice sound! I can’t believe it took me like, 10 years before I finally used it for a character haha i think i did use it for a pokemon at some point but i couldn’t tell you what pokemon it was dsfads

woo! i got Gwennol’s genes finished (and a two-minute outfit fasdf) and i got stripes for my gliscor oc Avastly! now i need tiger, for her and Pavo (And Pavo needs blend too)

also i should have grabbed a second underbelly for charon now that i think of it. whoops!

I do want to give shoutouts to Glacier and Gwennol for being the heaviest/lightest tundras that I had found entirely on my own c: still proud of them!!

Also Lambert, Civet, and Malaya for having fun measurements!

And these three too - Brightsoul, the Longest Tundra who I have had way before the rest haha, Arpeggione with the shortest tundra wingspan, and Meridian with the longest tundra wingspan!

also Garua (63943340) is the shortest tundra but i don't really like their colors that much and still haven't figured out what i want to do with them sdfad

Tundras come in all shapes and sizes and they're all perfect :D

Just so you all know, it’s my birthday tomorrow and i’m gonna be staying with some friends so I wont be on for a while.

However today I not only went for a quick little kayak paddle but afterwards got some climbing in - doing my first ever trad lead. The route was also one that isn’t actually a pitch yet... so my first First Ascent (albeit only a diff) was the same as my first trad lead!

Named it ‘Gwennol’ because it’s the welsh for a swallow/swift/house martin/sand martin and when I got to the top of the climb I looked up and saw a swallow and a sand martin... (Also my middle name is Gwennol.) Day before my birthday too, not bad.

So far this week, monday = jumping adam and eve, tuesday = kayaking and first trad lead :)
