I’m looking for an old fic I read years back where SHIELD brought Clint in wham he was young and Coulson is called in because Clint is being uncooperative with his interrogators. It takes Phil less than 10 minutes to figure out that Clint isn’t uncooperative, he’s deaf.

Hi! I'm looking for a time-travel fic where Clint is suddenly back when Loki appears, but Clint has learnt to block the mind-control, so Loki takes over someone else. Clint and Phil are married and after Clint has escaped the Pegasus facility, he calls the Helicarrier from a broken helicopter. Later on, he tells Phil about what happened originally, including Phil's death and the Avengers forming into a team. I think the fic was on AO3 and it's an older one fix-it. Help?

I can think of a dozen fics that are similar to what I'm looking for so if you find the right one I'll consider it a miracle: Phil and Clint have some sort of mental bond -- I don't remember if it's A/B/O or something else, but right after the battle, one of them reaches out to the other and Clint realises that Phil dying. Somehow he's able to hold him there mentally long enough for him to stabilize. I know of others where a bond tells Clint Phil's alive but in this one he actually saves Phil.

I read a fic once where coulson thought Clint was dead bc they couldnt contact him after bad guys captured him and when clint came back, phil thought it was his spirit and then clint left sad and then phil notices the door wasnt closed like it originally was and clint was really just in his office. So he runs after him. Does that ring any bells?

Hey there, fic finders! I have had this small section of a fic stuck in my head for DAYS and I'm having abysmal luck at finding it: it's Clint!centric, established relationship, takes place during The Avengers but Clint has somehow gone back in time, and this time around Loki's staff doesn't work on him. He remembers the events of the movie, and tries to convince Phil it's already happened. I think it was on AO3, but I can't find it! Any ideas?

Ok, so I'm looking for a fic that's told from Phil's PoV where he plays this WoW type online game and ends up making friends with another player and they email back and forth for years and then after the whole Avengers thing Phil's playing the game again and realises that he can hear the player he's friends with talking both from the headset but also through the wall and finds out that it was Clint all along.

Thanks for finding "The Dog Days are Over" for me! Now I've got another one for you, but it's kinda vague. It was a Regency arranged marriage AU. I think it was Fury who brokered the arrangement. Anyway, all I remember was that Clint was the one trying to actually make the marriage work, and Phil kept trying to "give Clint space" to find a lover on the side because he didn't believe Clint could ever want him.

There were multiple suggestions for this one, but I think the one that fits best is The Convenient Husband by Morgane. Fury helps arrange the marriage via Natasha and Phil does suggest early on that Clint is "free to seek companionship elsewhere".

I'm looking for a fic I read a while ago where Phil was secretly a romance novelist. I think he used a penname that was just initials. Anyway, he gets kind of accidentally famous and starts seeing people at SHIELD reading his books and then Clint reads on of the books and figures out that the main couple are thinly veiled versions of him and Phil, so he confronts Phil about it.

There's only one book in the story, but I'm pretty sure you're looking for The Dog Days Are Over by sirona.
