Shaping my goals and my body
I’ve been told time and time again that in order for you to be able to reach your goal, you have to be inspired. This will encourage you to keep on going even when things get tough.Â
For example, you wouldn’t eat that doughnut if you knew that this could help you reach your goal quicker.
Lately I’ve been finding it hard to be inspired by anything. I believe that this happens when you aren’t happy with your life. But, I’ve also realised that as well as being present in your own reality, it is also important to visualise where you want to be.Â
As I aim to shed body fat, it is important for me to have some visual goals of how I want my body to look like. Note. there is a difference between comparing yourself to others (which can turn into an unhealthy obsession) and the act of being inspired by someone who you feel that you can relate to. This being said, as I have a H shape/ Rectangular/Athletic build, I decided to research what celebrities also have this body shape. Let me also say that I didn’t feel that my body type was womanly enough (in comparison to the hourglass) but after seeing these celebrities with this body shape I felt a LOT better.Â
The celebrities with this body shape include; Cameron Diaz, Hilary Duff, Natalie Portman, Nicole Kidman, Mel C, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Garner, Sheryl Crow, Eva Longoria, Kate Hudson, Jessica Biel and Keira Knightley.
And as they have all embraced their bodies and have learnt how to dress it up, they all appear confident, happy, healthy and beautiful.
So let us all strive to be bold, brave and beautiful.
