anon voice: you really trust JASON to lead voltron? who knows what the galra did to him, he could be a sleeper agent or a spy for all you know. you'd be better off locking him up, or ejecting him into space. there's better and more trustworthy leaders out there.

                                        there is an anger in their veins,     in the way they clench their fists and stare with a wrath in their eyes.     

                                        `  you don’t know what it’s like out there.     the galra have hurt every damn one of us,     but you think you have the right to doubt him.  `     the lions chose them to represent freedom,     to be the light within the darkness.     jason represented that light to all of them as their leader,     lui seeing no other way.     if they believed in fate,     he was a part of it.     the fury envelops them,     breathes through them,     makes them stronger.     whoever thinks they understand their situation is a fool.     `  jason could be any of those things.     but he’s more than those things,     and whatever the galra try to do,     voltron will get through it.  `

                                        a bond of trust held them together.     they knew the risk,     but letting a fear of what ifs control them would only hurt the team.     (  they were glad jason wasn’t there.     he didn’t need to hear this.  )     this person was lucky that lui didn’t have their bayard.

                                        `  he’s my brother and my leader,     and you’re lucky to have him as the leader of voltron.     keep talking,     and i’ll eject you into space.  `
