A striking duo rests on Miss Clementine’s desk: a red carnation and sunflower, wrapped in ribbon and tied off with an elegant bow. “The red carnation is for admiration, I swear. LMAO.” the note reads, scribbled beside it what appeared to be a doodle of him and Maya holding ice-cream cones. “Thanks for always brightening my days here at the Academy. ♪ Let’s cook again soon! — Hinata”
What a lovely pair of flowers! And the bow... whoever put this together had a great eye for design. Maya grinned as she picked up the card, eager to discover which one of her wonderful students left it for her. The doodle revealed that answer almost immediately. So cute! She couldn’t wait to read the message that Hinata--
“Huh?!” Maya read over the first line twice, blinking just to make sure she wasn’t imagining the words. Nope. He definitely put that. To his teacher.
“What else would it be for, you silly goose?” The words escaped her mouth, low and muttered. Maya resisted the urge to lift her palm and bring it to her forehead. Hinata was terrific kid. Open, popular... So for those reasons, she attempted to understand his, erm, confidence, when assuming what she might think the flowers symbolized. Sighing, she just tried to focus on the intention. The doodle was adorable and perfect to present on her desk... maybe a little coffee accident could fix the rest of the note...
