Among his childhood friends, Cam can say with confidence that he’s the most studious of the bunch. Laney came at a close second because of her priority over cooking practice, and Georgia used persistence to get by with her studies. And sometimes, she used him.
Cam was open to any source of money or profit, so when he and Georgia started exchanging homework for food, he was quick to agree. They had most subjects together and whatever she’ll be requiring from him would just be a lesser version of work he’d be doing anyway. Right now, he had with him both his and her homework for History of Religion. He saw the redhead already in her seat when he walked into the classroom, so he took the paper out and approached her.
“Three pages, decent enough to pass. Just write your name name down and you’re good.” The paper was dropped to her laptop and Cam took his seat beside Georgia. Over the years, he learned how to copy her handwriting and it saved them both the trouble of having to rewrite the whole thing again. It meant for a better bargain for Cam, too.
Hat removed and placed in his bag, Cam stretched out his hands and rested his head on his desk. Sleepy... too sleepy. And a little hungry. He turned to Georgia lazily, a kick to her desk should be enough to get her attention, “So, lunch’s on you?” He paused, thinking about his reward some more. Three pages... “And a snack after this class.” Sounds fair.
