Was poking around and found these.

I didn't get them out in time prior to the election because I picked 'em up late on election day. Figured I would share anyway. Forget which state the guy was in but he rolled up on the sign and changed the traffic message. I do recall him saying something about poor typing skills. Presumably the missing "S" from promotes?

It's a good hack nonetheless and a nice piece of culture jamming.

Anyone can do this, as the devices are meant to be operated by low skilled labourers and usually have passwords and full instructions written inside of the box.
