hey atlas. this has spoilers. lets not read this until you watch the rest of tetro: pink you bum

i think that this pairing wouldve been really interesting to watch, especially after ch.3

a voice impressionist, who hasegawa KNOWS can impersonate his dead hot babe, who ALSO got tormented by the white fox

and a quiz show champion grieving the loss of his man in the worst way possible

i feel as thouh, even if wadagawa grew as a relationship, hasegawa would still do everything that he did

itd only affect wada much more

i also suppose itd give wada less of a reason to continue living, because 3 people he cared about died, allowin the 'lol wada starved (also i hate women)' von stuff to make more sense

i can only imagine the episodes we might've gotten of them

id assume we'd get a lot more use out of wada's ultimate

especially with hasegawa's trouble moving on from kaz

while yeah sure wada would only impersonate kaz, due to hasegawa's most likely relentless requests, it'd be nice to have him put his talent to use

My Final Thoughts: The Troop

I have completely finished The Troop. I have a lot of words.

I'll start with the boys, just from... what I saw from them. Most favorite to least

Newton Thornton:

I really like him! He is my beautiful fat son with the worms. I think his sacrifice was noble, that he immediately knew he would die. It was sad to see him do so, but it was obviously required. WWAMD? Die, I guess.

Shelley Longpre:

I can't explain this one. I was hooked on him before I read the book, and my skinny little self will STAY hooked. I honestly like seeing characters with little/no empathy like me, so he was a somewhat, very miniscule, familiar sight. His whole 'my children... alkehfakh my CHILDREN ARE THE WORMS' thing was. somewhat needed? He's obviously a required character, since he acts as a catalyst for all the horrible things that happen.

Ephraim Elliot:

Him and Max had a fucked up situationship. I relate to him a LOT, since I have anger issues and violent tendencies and so does he! He's a fun character to think about real hard and I quite liked his silly conversations with Max.

Max Kirkson:

I don't really have a reason for placing him so low. He just wasn't as enticing, I suppose. Him and Eef were fighting for 3rd place, and Eef won. There's nothing that... jumps out at me about him. He does remind me of Atlas, which is kind of a good thing? He's just a basic white boy to me, ok.

Kent Jenks:

I made it pink to spite him. He wasn't really anything special, and he pissed me off a bit. The teeth falling out was lowkey kinda funny. There's not much to say about him, he was rude, and he pissed me off.

The book:

It was... a pretty good book! I'm a fan of horror, and this got to me at times. Though, I do have some issues.

Gorge:

What. What does this mean. "His gorge rose" or something along those lines is a sentence that occurred multiple times. I don't know what that means. I don't think I ever will. It's this guys favorite word.

The piss:

There are multiple scenes just... talking about pissing? Sure, an off-hand mention to poke fun at newt is fine, however, it comes to a point when it is mentioned at LEAST 6 times.

Nick Cutter and whatever his thing was about shelley:

He was too in focus on him. Not as a character, lord no, but his actions. The description of shelleys. uh. excitement. at the harm of others or animals was weird, i feel. obviously, it may be needed to show how his actions affect others, though i feel like there are better ways of showing Shelley's enjoyment of suffering without saying 'penis' every other time. it made me uncomfortable with how in-depth cutter was. but like. this is just my opinion. (also apparently, within the audiobook there was a scene where shelley was PLEASURING HIMSELF TO THE THOUGHT OF KILLING TRIXIE?? this is from my bf. who listened to that TWICE.)

Overall? Good book! I enjoyed the characters, and it left me GENUINELY paranoid at times.
