Due to the abuse Mike experienced in his past home, he doesn't deem Shelleys behaviour as "abusive". Shelley never beat him or screamed at him or told him he was worthless. He genuinely thinks Shelley is a good friend who treats him right.

If he had befriended others he would've grew up SO DIFFERENTLY but he was too scared at the time and Shelley js took advantage of that and convinced him that everyone else hated him and Shell was the only one who actually liked him.

honestly the escilation in his behaviour leads me to thinking he would be a serial killer. He killed a cat at around 14 and just a week after hes said that he said it didnt feel as exciting anymore, he said he wondered what it felt to kill something bigger. (Lets say the worm didn't happend) if he killed something so big at such a young age we can imagine itd only get worse as he grew up. i do think shelley would commit murder in the future

anyways, realistically i dont think he would be able to. He locked Tim in the closet with the help of the others but he knows he doesn't have the strenght to outpower an adult, let alone 2..
