1. If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?

Hmmm I would want to own a little cafe and make good coffee and cupcakes and have a stage where local bands could play or poetry slams or something and hang paintings/drawings I made around the place which I would work on in my free time. And puppies. There has to be puppies. That'd be so cute. But I mean, I'm trying to be a therapist/psychologist maybe ahahaha. My next semester is my last semester of college so I'm semi-freaking out about applying to grad schools and knowing exactly what I want to do, so I'll go with my first answer.

2. If someone were to film a movie about your life, what would it be called?

The Anxious and Sleepless

3. What is your favourite memory?

It's hard to think of one. I guess just certain times I hung out with or had a really good talk with friends sticks out, but I won't go in to detail because I'm about to avoid every question.

4. If there was a celebrity you could be friends with, who would it be and why?

I don't know really. There are some celebrities I think are good or unique people and would be chill to be around, but I don't know if we would make good friends haha. I'd rather be friends with character's they portrayed haha.

5. List your five top TV shows

I'll just go with ones that are still going: Doctor Who, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Shameless US. It always changes and I like too many!

6. What was the first band you ever saw live? If you’ve never been to a concert, what is the one band you wish to see live?

Technically the first band I saw live was Cheap Trick cause someone had free tickets and it was just like outside away from the stage and didn't feel concert-y really so I don't count it. So I guess the first one that felt like going to see a band/singer live was Tegan and Sara haha. I wasn't allowed to go to concerts because of parents, so I didn't really get into going to shows and stuff until end of high school-ish!

7. Favourite subject in high school

Art or english.

8. If you could travel into the world of a book/movie/tv show, which would it be?

Doctor Who! But I'd probably die or something.

9. Describe your first love. If you’ve never been in love, describe your “ideal” person.

Does it only count if it was an actual relationship? Haha. I feel like a lot of the time I think I like someone but I realize I make up an ideal version of them in my head and it's not them who I like. I don't know if I actually loved someone, but I probably thought I did and I still kind of think I did, but if I were to count it, it was unrequited haha. My ideal person would be someone genuinely nice who really cares about others and who I feel comfortable with, is their own person, and can both joke around and be serious with at appropriate times.

10. What is your favourite tumblr and why?

I don't really have a favorite. I just like anything that posts things kind of similar to mine obviously since I reblog from them. Whoever I'm reblogging from a lot is probably one I like! Is that avoiding the question? haha. You're all my favorites! Cookies for everyone!

11. What does it mean to be human?

I took a metaphysics class and I still don't know. Are we human or are we dancer?

The story of my gimp arm~

I figured this was easier than telling the same story over again three times. :P

So tumbling is getting really popular in the dance scene, aerials being the most widely done tumbling pass. My friend recently learned how to do it, and said that it was basically just getting comfortable doing a one-handed cartwheel and working up the courage to take that hand away. 

Well I had a free evening so I went out in the backyard and decided to work on my aerials (that I had never attempted before, mind you :P). I did a few one-handed cartwheels and those felt really solid, so I decided to just go for the aerial and see how it went. Of course, I wasn't ready for it yet and knew I gonna fall on my head midway, so I put my arm out to catch myself. I heard a huge crack and a few seconds later the pain came and I knew I had done something bad to it.

Somehow I made it inside screaming my head off. My grandma was the only one home since my mom was at the gym, so she heard and came to see what was wrong. For a good thirty seconds I was just pacing the kitchen saying "It's broken.  It's broken." over and over. Then I got really light-headed and dizzy and my grandma made me sit down. I was sweating bullets and even had those cliche dots in my vision. She got me an ice pack, called my mom and went to get a cool cloth for me and (according to her, cause I don't remember) when she turned around, I was passed out. She called 911 (which I remember), and asked me to lay down on the floor. Once I did that, I felt much better except for extreme embarrassment and anger at my stupidity, which only got worse when I had to explain what happened to 7 six-foot paramedics and firemen in my kitchen. 

So after a five-hour wait in the emergency room, we finally found out that I have a radial head fracture in my left arm. The doctor in the emergency room told me I'd be in a full cast for six to eight weeks. Since then, I went to go see an orthopedic surgeon and when I told him that, he rolled his eyes and said "Those emergency doctors are so dramatic. Don't worry honey, you'll be out of this thing in three to four weeks." 

So I'm in a full arm cast (black to match my dance costumes and more of my clothes) and rockin' a bejeweled sling for the next month. My dance teachers are working with me to rework our dances to I can still do them, and I'm more thankful than ever that I'm ambidextrous.  

So yeah, that's it! xD
