Got to the barn, trainer said too hot for a lesson, but I could ride if I wanted. Was almost ready to put a saddle on Ben and a massive storm came rolling in. 🙃

So he got brushed and we took some selfies and I drove an hour home with my car trying to go sideways. 😬

Ben was unamused with my Snapchat filters. 🤣

But I have good people, good horses, and good vibes in my life right now. I’m going to do everything I can to keep it that way. 🥰

Weekly Ben selfie. We had our best ride outside of a lesson today. Very relaxed. He got nice and stretchy in the trot and really started to engage his hind end. He’s literally the cutest.

I look like a potato and have awful helmet hair, but Ben was being very sweet and cute after our lesson yesterday.

Also, I’m pretty sure my riding instructor tried to kill me yesterday. Everything hurts this morning and I think I’m dying. So yay. 🤣😅
