ACT III SCENE I
Now that Duncan is dead and I am now King, Thane of Cawdor, I can now go through with the rest of my plan. Banquo is becoming highly suspicious of me and my actions because of what he knows.. I need to rid of him and his son fleance since they are the next line of royalty. I have hired two murderers to gt rid of Banquo and his so for me since i cannot shed anymore blood after Duncan. To get Banquo and his son back here, I shall put together a banquet and invite them both but on the way here, they shall be murdered and taken care of without a drop of blood on my hands. This plan is basically fool-proof!! I have talked to the murderers and have their word to take care of the two of them. One of them had said, “ We shall my lord, perform what you command us.” (Act III Scene I) To know that I have their loyalty and that this act will be seen through gives me some what discomfort but comfort at the same time.. I am in discomfort because as of now I am killing my friends for a stature that its truly mine, but comfort for as though I a king now and I therefore can not give that up after everything being done.
