Here is my response to some of the questions in this thoughtful post going around!

erica’s death and the fallout, i.e. what happened to her body/family; derek dealing with her loss

Yeah, really. How the fuck are you going to explain how Erica died to her parents? Did you bring her body back so she could be buried or do her parents just think that she ran away? Same thing with Boyd.

lydia’s a banshee nbd

I think the exploration of the banshee aspect of TW is just unfolding and we are supposed to still have questions and hopefully we will learn more as the series goes on?

peter’s back and nobody seems to care since the only reaction were either non-existent, “aren’t you supposed to be dead?” and “you” /slow claps

I hate Peter because I really want to like him, but then again he murdered people... I'm super conflicted on what TW wants us to feel about him.

aka jennifer wooing derek with virgin innocence

People have speculated that Jennifer used magic to woo Derek and that was why Derek was so OOC in regards to his relationship with her.

aka danny pops a boner for ethan and that’s enough

I actually felt that the Danny/Ethan relationship was sufficiently developed considering they are two minor characters. 

big scene of driving the jeep into a tree with giant headwound but ends up popping up in the root cellar all eager but can’t lead everyone out the way he came in yep

This is literally the thing that angers me the most about 3a. Like was it even necessary for Stiles to crash if he just magically wakes up and still gets there in time? Was that confusing detail really just to make everything more intense? Did he just sprint all the way back to the cellar after totalling his car and severely injuring himself to the point of unconsciousness only to show no signs once he makes it back to the parents? WTF?!

where the fuck was Cora all these years and why didn’t she try to find Derek, how did she find out Derek was alive

What's her connection to the alpha pack?

has Morrell always been Deucalion’s emissary? Can emissaries choose their pack? If Deaton was the Hale pack’s emissary, why did he never help Derek and instead to play emissary for Scott? (which is okay just…why didn’t he reveal himself?)

I feel like we aren't supposed to know everything about emissaries just yet and these questions will be part of the series as it continues.

Why is Derek’s alpha spark enough to bring Peter back from the dead, but to heal Cora he has to fall to a beta?

I thought Derek AND Lydia combined brought Peter back and that one did not have enough power to do it on their own. But that might have just been what my mind made up to make sense of things.

did Jennifer try to kill Lydia because she saw her drawing the Nemeton? or was there another reason?

I think she thought that Lydia knew too much and was a danger to her secret.

did Harris know about the supernatural? Did he know back when Kate first stepped into his life? what’s the deal with Harris?

I am SO disappointed that there wasn't more to Harris's back story. There was obviously a lot more to him than what the students saw and TW kept hinting at his role in a bigger picture and then JACK SHIT happened.

what’s the deal with Paige? Why was the love-subplot necessary? 

I actually really like that part and I thought it made sense with the rest of the story. 

Why did Kali kill Erica if the plan was to force Derek into killing his pack members so that he could take in their power and join the alpha pack?

Because Gage was leaving the show and TW failed at gracefully excusing her character.

How did Scott, Allison and Stiles survive underwater for 16 hours and just come back to life with no medical assistance?

I feel like this question is forgetting that this is a show about werewolves and magical tree stumps.

Wasn’t their supposed to be a gay sex scene in 3a? There was a make out scene between Danny and Ethan but they didn’t even get their pants off.

How did Coach Finstock not get poisoned by the wolfsbane that was in his whistle?

I thought wolfsbane didn't effect humans like it did werewolves..?

How did Derek know that Cora was in the hospital? Did Stiles call him and tell him to come down to the hospital?

Yes? Or Derek's name was on file for next of kin. Idk. I don't really find this part weird at all.

Why did Stiles meet up with Cora and Peter to discuss Derek’s past? 

It was Cora's and Peter's way of welcoming Stiles into the family. c;
