For: @haley-owens Where: Haley's parents Christmas night
This year wasn’t his year, it had been a year since his accident already and he wasn’t much feeling up to doing Christmas this year. So when the invite came from Haley’s parents he had given a half excuse for not coming. He’d almost felt bad about not joining in for Christmas this year but he was reminded in the ache in his legs and the TV dinner he’d eaten. Perhaps there was a longing for interaction in him, he couldn’t decide but he was going to go to Haley’s parents anyway. Now the festivities had died down a little it would be quieter.
He paused close to the door for a moment, he’d taken painkillers to make the night bearable, and he’d decided to wear something nice. He scrubbed a hand over his face to wake himself up a bit. He stepped up and knocked at the door.
