if it's okay, i wanted to ask you how you put a different gif behind the text on a gif?

Hello,

I use Photoshop for my gifs so I can only advise you on Photoshop :)

All you need to do is to create two different gifs with the two images you want to layer over one another.

On the gif you want to layer on top, type out your text (I always do mine in white text). Then double click on the text which should bring up this:

On ‘Blending options’ select Fill Opacity as 0% and Knockout as ‘Deep’ and you will get this effect:

Next, select the button on the top right of your timeline (the one with the three lines) and select ‘flatten frames into layers’. Once you’ve done this, highlight the flattened frames, then go to Layer > New > Group from layers which will create a new layer group. 

Next, highlight all your frames in the timeline, click the three lined button again, and click ‘Copy Frames’.

Now you need to go to the second gif you have created (which will the bottom layer). Highlight all the frames on the timeline and click ‘Paste Frames’ which will bring up this box:

I use those above settings and you need to make sure both gifs have the same amount of layers for it to work.

I’ve just made this one now as an example of how it should look:
