I always found my frown lines so annoying, it feels like I am frowning all the time. I have two deep lines between my eyebrows you can drive a car through them. Friends often ask me what's the matter with you, you are frowning. Well, the frown lines define our face. When someone looks at your face, the eyes focus on the eyes of the other person, mainly in between the eyes. That is to say, they look straight at your frown lines. I've now realised what is the main culprit behind my frown lies. It was the many, many years I spent in front of the computer. I was almost always frowning while looking at the monitor, it became a habit. The main reason behind it was that all emails, messages I received were about issues, complaints and problems that I'd need to resolve. Also reading the news, anything else on your laptop or when watching news on TV I noticed that I was mostly frowning. If you are one of those people and got into the habit of passive frowning, here is a simple, effective, non invasive and non surgical solution that costs you nothing. Though, this suggestion is too late in my case and I am not planning to splash thousands on botox and fillers. If it's not too late in your case, you can still take advantage of this simple and effective solution. I've also noticed, this simple technique shifts the focus of other people away from the frown lines to your eyes and lips. The simple solution for some a serious problem is the half a smile. Biologically we cannot maintain together the feeling of anger and joy at the same time, i.e. we cannot smile and frown at the same time. Try it and see whether you'll manage to smile and frown at the same time. I find it almost impossible, the best I can manage is a grimace. Half a smile isn't even a full smile, it's a subtle smile on the lips and in the eyes. This smile is also called Mona Lisa or Buddha smile. It's so subtle only you know you are smiling. It may take a while to build the habit and shift from your usual frowning in front of the computer. Alternatively, if you don't care about your frown lines and just want to be happier, you can half smile your way to happiness. Based on a research even holding a pencil between your teeth will make you feel much happier.
