Next up is the Half Day IPA from Arbor, another favourite Bristol Brewer of mine.
With stronger malts, Centennial & Simcoe hops and an ABV of 5.2%, this is an American Pale Ale designed with casual afternoon drinking in mind. It’s surprising that, amongst all of this, this is also well balanced with strong tasting notes of Grapefruit & Pine.
A must for all fans of traditional English & American Pale Ale’s alike. If this hits the spot, then I’d highly recommend their Yakima Valley - think less malty, and even more hoppy.
