So much seems to have changed within a year for the Spring Smash Seminar. New possible events. New people to meet...

...an entirely new host. Gone was Nightmare and all of NME, and instead was a talking flower in their place.

From what it sounds like, some didn't mind nor care about the change at all, while others were more than delighted to see them gone from the Manor premises.

" ......."

...And yet. Only one remained quiet, finding the change sudden after returning from one year.

"Hey, cheer up! So what if it's a different host this time around? Master Hand's gotta have his reason to get someone new this time around! ...Not sure why a flower, but what do I know?"

...And yet. Some things just stay the same.

Oh dear, the Dark Lord Ayin has stolen lots of faces!

The concerned Museum Lady (of Part Time UFO) offers a special pendant, in hopes it’ll help Momotaro the Wanderer.

The pendant, I mean, family heirloom is glowing!!

Oh my! Inside the pendant was the spirit of Jobs, also known as UFO!!

...They can’t help much in combat...yet.

But, they can grant the power of jobs!! Let’s go Momotaro!

A group of paper wrapped crafts were under the tree, though luckily they were not squished!

For UFO: A paper plate craft

For Qbby and Qucy: Popsicle Stick ornaments

For Qudy: A macaroni art of Qudy making macaroni and cheese in a foil pot.

For the Qbabies: Paper roll toys!

...Clearly these were made by a preschooler. Merry Christmas!

Idea.

Nightmare quickly tries to think of what exactly he’s doing right now. He really needs to sell this to this box, if he hasn’t lost it already. This might be his chance to rid the world of this box idiot’s cuteness and quirkiness forever! 

“You need a proper fight and a plot and an adventure, with perilous journeys and emotional highs and lows before you can be a hero. And you do want to be a hero, yeah? Well, guess what, I’m the worst villain in the galaxy. The most evil out here. So I know a thing or two about what makes a hero and what doesn’t. If you go on a daunting quest with endless danger then you’ll become a hero by the end..”

All Nightmare had to do was sent this little box on an adventure that specifically was not designed to be finished by him. Like, just doing the equivalent of putting a platforming video game hero focused on jumping in a level specifically designed for a hero who could run at high speeds, through loopty-loops and what not. It just couldn’t be done!
