Halloween AU: RK900 (pt. 1)

Wendigo

“The most frequent cause of transformation into a Wendigo was if a person had resorted to cannibalism.”

The transformation had been horrific and almost instantaneous

No longer able to remember his real name, the creature simply goes by 900

When he had changed, it hadn’t been because he had tasted human flesh out of need like most lore would want you to believe, it was purely out of want

900 had wanted to feast on human flesh with little regard to the consequences, having snapped mentally some time ago though he can’t seem to remember why

Despite how he almost always finds a meal, 900 is always hungry, looking to be nothing but skin stretched over a disfigured skeleton

He is capable of speech, but as no one lives long enough to hold an actual conversation with him, everyone believes he’s truly a monster

There are times where 900 will actually try to talk with his prey, though usually it’s to stall for time, maybe even let his victim believe that they may get out of there alive

Don’t expect him to show anything but hunger or greed as those are the two emotions that drive him

900 is unable to remember his time as a human, not even really remembering being human as becoming a Wendigo was a type of rebirth for him

Despite his features resembling a deer skull, his teeth are as sharp as a wolf’s with a lot of crushing power, perfect for snapping through bones

900 enjoys the thrill of the hunt, so he will always let his prey slip away allowing them to believe that they’re safe only to stalk after them and eventually go in for the kill

A few hunters has tried to take him down but so far, all their efforts have failed in eradicating the beast from his home in the woods

Even though it hurts him, 900 can resist the urge to kill, though 99% of the time he slaughters anyway, even if it’s not to eat

Halloween AU: Cecil

Reaper|Angel of Death

Being an Angel of Death is not the same as being Death so don’t look at me like that

Cecil takes his job very seriously, never allowing a soul to escape him

His eyes, as depicted above, are blood red with black sclera, able to see the worth of a soul and the sins that stain it

Typically, the black wings that sprout from his back are easily hidden from human eyes, only visible if he shows them, though that only happens if he’s reaping a soul

When they are spread as wide as they can be, Cecil’s wings are massive with a 14-15 foot wingspan

Yes, he can actually fly

Cecil takes great pride in being feared, knowing that it is better to be feared than loved as love just gets in the way of a smooth work environment

He is able to hide among humans, though usually it’s with a pair of dark sunglasses and a nice looking suit

Unlike Death, Cecil needs tools to help take a soul, usually a scythe that he can summon with ease

He holds no remorse for what he does, no guilt

Sometimes, Cecil will bend the rules to help keep someone alive, but this is very rare as it does get him in a lot of trouble and breaks the laws of nature

Let it be known that Cecil will never reap the soul of a child, finding it rather difficult to do so leaving it to another reaper or even Death himself to handle

Cecil is the reason cats have nine lives don’t @ me

Like Death, Cecil is able to take on skeletal attributes when exhausted or he just wants to intimidate/terrify his target soul more

He doesn’t do it often, but when Cecil cries, regardless of if it’s from actual emotions, he cries blood don’t ask me why it just adds character
