“The Boy Friends” was a series of American “Pre-Code” comedy short films produced at the Hal Roach studios & released between 1930 - 1932. The series consisted of fifteen films & was spun off from the long running “Our Gang” film series (also known as The Little Rascals). Seen (left to right) are: Grady "Alabam" Sutton, Dorothy Granger, David Sharpe, Gertrude Messinger, Mickey Daniels & Mary Kornman.
Mickey Daniels & Betty "no brains" Bolen strike a pose for a still photo on the set of "Too Many Women" (1932) No such action appears in the finished film. “Too Many Women” was the final entry in “The Boy Friends” series.
