You mind heliping me with something ??? My gradient is annoying and decided to gradient the whole page instead pf one spot and it looks bad... Any tips on that? ???
id have to see the picture to really understand how to help that specific situation but i tend to stay away from gradients unless its in the background or very subtle in the subject??
I just got myself a drawing tablet (INTUOS)! I'm using Krita and the drawing on the tab is reallly diff- wbu? Was it hard or maybe is it possible you share some knowledge .
it was a little difficult to adjust at first but through practice over the years i got pretty used to the feel of it!! it just takes some getting used to :V
Do you have any advice for artist who want to set up commissions on how to do it, how to price, and/or just tips in general?
im still a young artist who just started really getting into commissions this year so i dont have really much of an experience but some tips i have for it are under the readmore :V
-have a reliable system of payment for starters! (for me its paypal)
-when coming up with prices just think about how much effort and time it takes to finish each peace and dont undersell yourself! a lot of people do either set prices or charge by the hour. i do set prices based off of the average amount of time it takes me to complete something (i essentially charge 15+ an hour).
-also an information sheet helps so people can refer to something that isnt a wall of text and also have examples of what the finished work can look like
-when you do get commissions make sure you communicate well with the commissioner because since they are paying for the work you want to make sure it fits their standards so you dont have to make a billion changes after you finish it!!
-also along with the communication thing: if you know the commission is going to take a bit or you have some plans that interrupt your ability to work on it for a while just go ahead and tell the commissioner. they will understand tRUST ME
thats all i can really say i guess?? sorry about the long post aH
For your commissions, what's the difference between rough and smooth? I couldn't see it sorry ;4;
its the type of line i use!
rough is just the rough texture of the line which can be pretty hard to see on the commission sheet since i had to shrink all my images and smooth has more clean lines and the final product just seems more complete with smooth line imo
heres a side by side view of both of the line types tho!
the thing is w fanart i gotta look thru my tag which i dont do on a regular basis and also since i write lil things on each fanart i get i really have to be in a social mood i guess?? talking is hard for me r.i.p
but im sorry if i havent reblogged it or posted submitted fanart that uve done!! i really appreciate all the art yall draw aHH
