Crow is the younger sibling of Grimm, surviving the same Nemesis attack that made him a Sorcerer. Their Curse has left them with joints that pop out of socket at the slightest provocation, so they often stay behind while Grimm works, helping care for their home.
When Grimm brought back a 99% dead Hameline, Crow sprang into action. Because of their Curse, they'd spent a lot of time practicing healing magic, coupled with Grimms Feather Bandages. Using that knowledge, what they'd read of traditional medicine, and Grimms bandages (even unwinding the one that was helping hold their shoulder in place when they ran out), they did all they could to practically ressurect Hameline.
Thankfully, it worked, and Hameline began to recover under Crows watchful eye.
With the Domitor to now watch his younger sibling in the field, Grimm started to allow Crow to accompany him.
They took part in the battle for Caislean Merlin, using their healing magic to help others stay on their feet, while Hameline (& her reclaimed brothers) made sure that no one got close enough to take Crow out of action.
Despite their best attempts to hide it, anyone who sees them together knows that Crow and Hameline are deeply devoted to one another. There are bets, amongst Seth and his friends, about when they'll kiss. Which Crow is aware of and finds hilarious, given that their relationship with Hameline has long since been romantic, they're just both deeply private people.
