The Decemberists in NYC, “Ben Franklin’s Song,” with Lin-Manuel Miranda! 8/23/22
Who would be interested in seeing me sign songs?
I'm an ASL major in college and one song I adore is the Hamildrop song First Burn, written by Lin-Manuel Miranda as a draft for Eliza's solo Burn. I know everyone here follows me for ACOTAR/Miraculous content, but I'm going to record something today or tomorrow and share it if any of you are theater nerds interested in seeing my interpretation.
I've taken a fairly long break from ASL classes and haven't gotten into the Deaf community, so my signing is rusty. Please don't judge. This is just a fun little project.
just when i thought i was over my hamilton phase, lin had to release the ENTIRE play huh?
Putting your liked songs on shuffle is really weird, because you learn lots of new things, like, did you know that The Mandalorian Theme flows nicely into First Burn??????
she’s not just “that gloomy girl.” she has feelings. and mai knows better than anyone that if you play with fire, you might get burned.

Don't
I'm not naïve
I have seen women around you
Don't
Think I don't see
How they fall for your charms
you have invented a new kind of stupid, a damage you can never undo kind of stupid.
Lin Manuel Miranda, Congratulations
Have you ever recently re-listened to Cheering For Me Now then come to the realization that you had completely forgotten that almost 2 years ago, this song proved to us that Lin's got RANGE and a magnifent vibratto, therefore remembering how there's truly no reason to worry about his vocal performance as Piragua Guy in the ITH movie because you just know now that he's gonna nail it?
Same. Me too.
